Leaders from Mount Zion Baptist Church, Mount Zion Development Company, Novant Health, and Front Street Capital celebrate the Groundbreaking Monday, October 26.

The approximately $20 million, 20,000-square-foot medical office building will expand access to healthcare services in an historically underserved area of Guilford County. Expected to open in spring 2028, the two-story facility will offer primary and specialty care services, including women's health, pediatrics, diabetes management, heart and vascular care, and advanced imaging.

The project is part of Mount Zion's larger 65-acre mixed-use development along Alamance Church Road, which is planned to include healthcare, housing, retail, and community spaces. The medical plaza builds on a partnership between Novant Health and Mount Zion Development Company focused on bringing healthcare services closer to the communities they serve.
