Front Street Money Market Fund

The investment objective of the Front Street Money Market Fund is primarily to achieve limited income earnings with reasonable safety of capital and liquidity and secondarily for some capital appreciation. The Fund invests mainly in money market securities and bonds issued by Canadian governments and corporations, with maturities of up to one year, and in floating rate notes and asset-backed securities.
The Fund’s investment strategy entails investing in “money market securities” which are eligible for the Fund’s portfolio which include treasury bills, commercial paper, bankers’ acceptances and other evidences of indebtedness with remaining terms to maturity of 365 days or less. The Fund intends to maintain a portfolio with a high credit quality. The weighted average term to maturity of the Fund’s assets will not exceed 90 days.
